Joshua has come and gone but the euphoria still lingers in the atmosphere. In line with his advice that the spirit of the celebration should be made manifest in a life devoted to prayer for the Church of God for a strong bond of love and rededicating ourselves to the acts of giving for the rest of our lives; the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua emerged on the podium looking apparently renewed. The congregation was no less renewed as was evident from the number of people that lined up to share extraordinary testimonies. T .B .JOSHUA In his brief message, Prophet T.B. Joshua reiterated his resolve to encourage job creation by entrepreneurs and organizations all over the world. In response to the numerous responses already received from across the globe, he said, we don’t need to ask whether a candidate belonged to this or that church. What matters is that they are human beings. If God give you job and you take God’s job, you must accept God and a sense of judgment will be the result; you will think right and judge right. You will have a desire to know what happens after this life is over. You will think about that if God gives you a job. The job offers will reduce crime and what is happening to the youth all over the world. South African Gospel Singer Deborah Fraser was guest at The SCOAN Sunday Service where she performed two of her heart-rending hit-track songs to the high-spirited congregation who sang along and danced praising God. Because of want of space, we are constrained to bring to you only a few of the testimonies of healing, deliverance and breakthroughs resulting from the use of the New Anointing Water, Anointing Sticker and praying with the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV. GOD QUALIFIES THE UNQUALIFIED 1 Mariana Parkhotyuk Mrs Mariana Parkhotyuk from the USA, was without a job until she visited The SCOAN during Prophet T.B. Joshua’s 49th birthday. She did not have the requisite qualifications for the job she had her eyes on. She was privileged to meet with the man of God who gave her the Anointing Water. When she returned to the USA she prayed and ministered the Anointing Water on herself and to her credentials and said to God, “God qualifies the unqualified”. After her prayers, she applied for a job as a Clinical Specialist and was given the job. The organization also sent her for on-the-job training which resulted in rapid promotion and new placement in her career. She not only has a bigger salary than she had ever received; she also got the chance to further her education through the job she was blessed with. She believes strongly that God used the medium of the Anointing Water to bring about more blessing and favour in her life. SCHOLARSHIP GRANTED OUT OF NOWHERE 2 Bryson StillMr Bryson Still from Washington, USA, started a degree course in Education but was unable to get the finances to further his education. He had made several efforts towards raising the necessary funds but was unsuccessful. He was privileged to receive the Anointing Water and anointed himself with prayer believing for a breakthrough in the name of Jesus Christ. Shortly after, he received a call from the President of his college whom he never knew, offering him a scholarship to the tune of US $50,000 which covered his tuition and all other expenses. He now has a hope for a bright academic future to the glory of God. HOPELESSNESS TURNED TO HAPPINESS 3 Lesego Mabote Lesego Mabote from Botswana, told her moving story of how in her place of work, she had been painfully waiting for promotion for more than 10 years. In spite of her strong attachment to her job and the zeal to do her best, she was disappointingly demoted whereas her colleagues were being promoted. This unusual trend of administrative injustice caused her depression and she gave up hope of ever being able to move upward in her career. She resigned herself to working only for money for food and utilities and not expecting a better and brighter career future. In search of solution to her problem she went to prayer houses but nothing positive came out of her being prayed for. Coming from a background of idol worshipping family, she was obliged to go back home to find out what the matter was. She was told by spiritualists that if she did not keep up the practices of her forbears she would not expect any success or breakthrough in her career. This revelation blackened her horizon and she believed there was not a single chance of her coming out of her predicament. As she however watched Emmanuel TV and saw the wonderful testimonies given by people who had similar situation as hers, she decided to come to The SCOAN and was privileged to receive the Anointing Water. When she got home, she began to minister the Anointing Water every day in the name of Jesus, believing that her help could only come from the Almighty. She also prayed that God should rewrite her history of being bound to family tradition. The Son of God declared her free and she is free indeed. Not long after, out of the blue, she received a call from her manager that she was due to be promoted to Supervisor of the office. She is now proud to be occupying the position of a Supervisor in her office. Her depression and despair have been turned into joy. DRY BONES SHALL RISE AGAIN! Mrs Navone from Tanzania was not able to walk and was bound to a wheelchair for a long time. She arrived at The SCOAN on a wheelchair. She had to depend on her children to do everything for her and that situation of helplessness affected her psychologically and caused her serious depression. She had to stop going to work and would sit at home all day, desperate for relief. She went to many hospitals and traditional healers but no solution could be found. As she watched Emmanuel TV and saw many testimonies of people with even greater problems than her own she received renewed hope. The faith that her own miracle was possible made her ask to be brought to The SCOAN even if it meant coming on a stretcher. When she arrived at The SCOAN, she was seated at the canopy section within the overflow congregation. According to her, she was surprised as she saw her daughter crying for the man of God to help her, that her mother was sick. The man of God sent for her and people came and quickly wheeled her inside the church.4 Navone from Tanzania The man of God, T.B. Joshua prayed for her, touched her and asked her to rise up, in Jesus’ name. Immediately, she got up and started walking without any pain. She can now carry out all her domestic chores without assistance from anyone! Her daughter, Mary Mboya, also testified to the extraordinary healing which had taken place in the life of her mother. She explained how the constant care and attention the condition of her mother demanded, had become a burden to her. The journey from Tanzania to The SCOAN was not easy for them as they had to pass through several countries and the transfer from one aircraft or vehicle to another was tiring for both of them. Her mother would cry all night due to the pain in her legs. Now, after the prayer, she sleeps peacefully. She no longer has to use a wheelchair and walks freely without any pain. Their advice to the viewers and congregation was simple: Believe that Jesus Christ is the Healer and great Physician in this world. After the testimony, Mrs Navone danced before the Lord with overflowing thankfulness in her heart. She was warmly embraced and 5 Navone from Tanzania congratulated by the numerous attendees from all over the world who danced with her inside the church. thetbjoshuafanclub | June 19, 2013 at 8:21 pm | Tags: announcements, Biography, Charity, church of all nations, Crusades, Deliverance, Dwarves, Emmanuel TV, exclusive, foreverjones, Fraudsters, Healing, Interviews, Jesus Christ, johannesburg, john attah mills, Message, Michael Jackson, My People FC, onazi ogenyi, Persecution, physically challlenged, press release, Prophecy, reconciliation, Sanni Emmanuel, sunday service summary, TB Joshua, the saviour, The Synagogue, widows | Categories: Uncategorized | URL: http://wp.me/pxw1c-1M1 Comment See all comments Unsubscribe or change your email settings at Manage Subscriptions. 2013 - 06 - 12 INAUGURATION OF THE NEW POLICE SERVICE COMMISSION BOARD MEMBERS

2013 - 06 - 12 INAUGURATION OF THE NEW POLICE SERVICE COMMISSION BOARD MEMBERS President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR today directed the chairman of the Police Service Commission Mike Okiro to purge the Nigeria Police Force of top officers who do not merit their ranks. Jonathan gave the directive at the State House in Abuja after swearing in Sir, Mike Mbama Okiro IGP (Rtd) CFR, NPM, mni, as the new Chairman of the Police Service Commission and five other members including Hon. (Dr.) Olufunmilola Adekeye, JSC (Rtd), CON, Yakubu Mohammed DIG (Rtd), NPM, mni, Hajiya Aisha L. Tukur, Comfort Obi OON, FNGE, and Chief (Dr.) Tonye Anyim. The president said “And that is one area I believe you will go into. People who are promoted to assistant police commissioner and above must merit the rank. If you don’t merit the rank you should be retired from the service because it is better for you not to have enough manpower than for you to have viruses and all kinds of characters in the Police Force,” He further revealed “When the Police Headquarters was bombed, some people came to me and say Mr. President, sack all police officers working in that place from Assistant Commissioner of Police and above. I did not sack any because of that incident, but that was the advice I got,” But President Jonathan stressed his reasons thus: “I believe there are two things. One is the issue of discipline. So, one of the responsibilities of the Police Service Commission is to instil discipline. Another thing I believe is that people who have no merit to certain ranks are being promoted to those ranks. “One of your (PSC) responsibilities is to handle promotion. I believe with you (Okiro), only those who merit or deserve promotion should be promoted. Those who deserve to be disciplined or dismissed must be disciplined”. The president said the Federal Executive Council, may in the next one or two weeks, look at the report on police reform in order to come up with a white paper. “We give you privilege to look at that document before we come out with a white paper. So that if there is a suggestion that you will bring, you bring it so that it will be part of the white paper since you are the one to manage the police,” he told the new commission chairman. After the swearing-in ceremony, Sir, Okiro said the Police Service Commission would look at the extant laws and see the areas where it is supposed to act to reform the police. On why the police perform better outside, Okiro said:“The reasons are far reaching. One, you can find out that the environment is different, the people are different and also the equipment and all of what to work with. “The Nigerian Police officers while rendering service outside this country under the United Nations they give them the wherewithal to do the work.” Okiro lamented that Nigeria Police Officers are not motivated to perform. “From ACP up they are not feeling very happy. Many of them have no houses, the morale of the police is quite low, they need to be motivated, and you have to look into what to make them perform optimally.” The new Chairman in his speech solicited the continued support of the media, the youths and all well meaning Nigerians in this arduous task of revamping and re-invigorating the entire Nigeria Police towards repositioning the Force for greater efficiency and effectiveness in containing emerging internal security challenges, and indeed providing a safer and secured environment for meaningful socio-economic development in the nation. Finally, on behalf of himself and other members of the Police Service Commission, he pledged that they will do their utmost best to take the Nigeria Police Force to the next level. He pointed out that the Nigeria Police Force used to be acclaimed as the “best in Africa”, and that together with the support of all, we can reclaim our pride of place.

SHAME: NIGERIAN ARMY N1,000 EXTORTION IN THE NAME OF RECRUITMENT

SHAME: NIGERIAN ARMY N1,000 EXTORTION IN THE NAME OF RECRUITMENT The Nigerian army just announced its recruitment for 70th RRI TRADESMEN & WOMEN 2013 and applicants will have to pay N1000 for the form. It is a shame that new recruits have to pay N1,000 for application form into nigerian army. It is a shame that the army is extorting money from people who volunteer to give their lives in the service of this country. In other countries, the army holds recruitment fair, encourage and entice people to join in the service of their fatherland. It is a shame that a recruitment portal that doesn't cost more than N300,000 to develop and deploy is being used to extort millions of naira from jobseekers. It is a shame that the army 'ogas at the top' will embezell the funds budgeted for recruitment and also go ahead to defraud innocent nigerian youth of N1,000. Can anyone tell us what the money budgeted for recruitment is used for? Can someone please multiple N1000 X 10-20 thousands applications and see how much they are ripping off our youths. It is a shame that the army is setting a dangerous precendents, very soon all establishment will start charging money for recruitment and deprive the poor of employment. It is a shame that the government is encouraging this extortion and reaping from the unemployment they created. If the government didn't create this massive unemployment in the country, who will be willing to pay for N1000 for army application? During the 70's when the army 'ogas at the top' were recruited, they were paid to even come for recruitment camps, now they have bastardised the system and moved on to demand N1000 before you buy application form. It is only this country that the armed forces are treated this way. It is a shame that this culture of impunity has been going on for two years now and neither the National Assembly, Public complaint commission or the traditional press and media have ever challenged it. It is a shame that the nigerian youth, students, jobseeker and the general public have left this to go unabated. It will continue to be a shame if after reading this you do nothing. THIS IS THE TIME TO STOP THIS EXTORTION. THIS IS THE TIME TO ACT. TOGETHER WE CAN STOP THIS BY MAKING OUR VOICE TO BE HEARD. PLEASE SHARE THIS IN YOUR WALL, EXPRESS YOUR DISAPPROVAL OF THIS EXTORTION, PASTE THIS ON YOUR STATUS, ALERT THE PRESS, TELL THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MEMBERS, PUBLIC COMPLAINT COMMISSION ETC. PLEASE ALSO PASTE THIS TO PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN'S FACEBOOK WALL TILL HE CALLS THE ARMY TO ORDER. TOGETHER WE CAN!!

Amaechi: The tight rope of survival

Rivers State Governor, Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, is engaged in the political battle of his life. Will he succeed or will forces against him consume him? NDUBUISI ORJI asks. For the Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, it is not raining, it is pouring. Since April 15, when a Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja sacked the Rivers State Executive of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to him and replaced them with a new executive loyal to Minister of State for Education, Nyesom Wike, the governor has been on the spot. Amaechi and Wike, who incidentally was his first Chief of Staff and Director General of his reelection Campaign in 2011, have been at daggers drawn over control of the party’s machinery in the state. So, the court judgment that sacked the governor’s men in the party leadership was a blow below the belt for Amaechi. On assumption of office, one of the first things the new party executive, led by Mr. Felix Obuah, did was the suspension of 27 members of the State House of Assembly loyal to the governor and purportedly declared their seats vacant. The House had suspended the chairman of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, the vice chairman of the council and the 17 councilors, and acting on the resolution of the House, the governor inaugurated a caretaker committee for the council. Obio-Akpor is the home local government of the Minister of State for Education. This infuriated Obuah to no end. He gave the governor and the House a 48-hour ultimatum to rescind the decision but the House would not bulge. Hence the decisions of the party’s chairman to wield the big stick. In the past two weeks, political tension in the state has reached an all-time high with the governor and his associates, gasping for political breath. Pro and anti-Amaechi protests have rocked the state At the height of the crisis, the Police sealed off the secretariat of the Obio-Akpor LGA, just as men of the Force invaded the House of Assembly Complex, making it impossible for both the Caretaker Committee and the legislators to gain access to their offices. However, the Police later vacated the council secretariat, following a court order. The political crisis in the state assumed a new dimension, a fortnight ago, when the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Otelemaba Dan Amachree, alleged that there were plans by five members of the State Assembly loyal to Wike to fraudulently impeach the governor. Amachree alleged: “The Abuja plan on ground is to falsely impeach the Speaker and the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Amaechi, and create confusion through varied responses, which they hope would make the state ungovernable and provide them with some kind of warped basis to introduce emergency rule in Rivers State.” He also alleged that a fake mace had already been procured to enable the five pro-Wike lawmakers hold emergency session where they will remove the governor. But Obuah said the allegation is baseless. He said the party under his leadership has no plans now to impeach Amaechi or the Speaker. According to him, one of his duties was to bring everybody under one umbrella and to heal the wounds inflicted on the party by the lingering crisis. The denial notwithstanding, those in the know insist that the plan to impeach the governor is real. And that the Wike group is already making overtures to lawmakers loyal to the governor to dump him. Though the state chapter of the PDP has dismissed alleged moves to impeach him, and it is a near impossibility for five legislators in a 32 man Assembly to impeach the governor, the governor is still in a very precarious situation. Recall that former governor of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Dariye was impeached by only five members of the state House of Assembly. While former Oyo State governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja was also impeached in very suspicious circumstances. Not a few believe that the Minister is fighting a proxy war whose aim is to decapitate Amaechi politically. Analysts believe that it is more a case of the voice of Jacob and the hand of Esau. Besides, the Rivers State governor’s face-off with the Presidency over his continued leadership of the Nigeria Governors Forum seems to give credence to view that there is more to the Rivers State PDP crisis than meet the eyes. Recall that the Rivers State government is currently engaged in a spat over the grounding of the state airplane. The National Civil Aviation Agency (NCAA) had accused the Rivers State government of breaching aviation regulations. The government had repeatedly denied that charge, insisting instead, that the grounding of plane was political. Indications that all is not well between Rivers State governor, Chibuike Amaechi and the Presidency emerged late last year when the governor accused the presidency of ceding oil wells belonging to his state to Bayelsa. Rivers State government pointedly stated last year that the Presidency wanted to cede the oil wells in the disputed Soku oil field to the neighbouring Bayelsa state as a way of emasculating him financially ahead of the 2015 general election. “There is rumour that they are emasculating me because of 2015. It is unfortunate. It is a non-issue. For now, I have no plan for 2015. I was shocked to hear of Lamido/Amaechi 2015 campaign, with branded vehicles in the North and many people are panicking. “I am exhausted. I have not attended any 2015 meeting. If they are taking Rivers oil wells because of 2015, they should leave us alone.” Amaechi is rumoured to be planning to contest the 2015 general election as Vice Presidential candidate to Jigawa State governor, Mallam Sule Lamido. President Jonathan and his wife, Patience are widely believed to be responsible for the political crisis in Rivers. Top presidential official were alleged to have relocated to Yenogoa, the Bayelsa state capital, where they met with security chiefs from Rivers State on how to tighten the noose on Amaechi. But the wife of the President has denied any involvement in the Rivers State political imbroglio. In a statement by her Special Assistant on Media, Ayo Osinlu, Mrs. Jonathan denied the allegation. “We assure all well-meaning Nigerians that this is the handiwork of mischief-makers who are hell bent to drag the person of the First Lady into disrepute,” the statement said. However, an elder statesman and former Minister of Petroleum, Professor Tam David West said, the Rivers State governor is a victim of political vendetta. He said the Federal government is persecuting the governor because the President has been mislead into believing that he is vying for vice presidency in 2015. The former Minister said unknown to a lot of people, Amaechi is eyeing the Senate in the next political dispensation. He said it is because Wike, who hails from the same senatorial district with the governor is equally eyeing the senatorial seat that both men are at loggerhead. “What has Amaechi done? Jonathan had the highest votes in rivers state. Without the governor of the state supporting him, would he have gotten the votes?. Amaechi and the Minister of state, Education are very close. They fell out because Wike wants to contest for Senate, and Amaechi also wants to contest for Senate. Jonathan has the impression that Amaechi wants to run for the vice presidency and it is a lie.” David-West, who maintains that the political crisis is a drawback to the state challenged President Jonathan to publicize Amaechi’s offences. “Let Jonathan bring out Amaechi’s corruption. Let him bring out his offences, then I will join him. He is just pursuing vendetta. “Okay, governors’ forum. Governors’ forum is a forum of all the governors in the country you cannot because you are a PDP governor and chairman of Governors forum and make governors forum an extension of PDP. We have a proverb in Ijaw that if you chase a fowl too much , you will fall down, the chicken will go”, the former Minister warned. Amaechi says the problem in his state is because of his decision to seek a second term as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF). He eventully defeated the party’s prefered candidate, Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau to retain his position as NGF chairman. Following his re-election, Amaechi was suspended by the PDP National Working Committe (NWC). And plans to impeach him is on, with a South -south governor mandated to raise 7billion naira to facilatate the plot. So far, as at Thursday last week, eight of the pro-Amaechi lawmakers have crossed to the Wike camp, laeving the governor with 19 lawmakers. Though Ameachi is known to be rugged, there is no doubt that he is walking a tigh trope. In this clime, no one engages in a fight with the president and comes out without bruises. Former governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti, Dariye (Plateau), Dipreye Alameiseigha (Bayelsa) and Ladoja (Oyo) are examples of political casualties in the battle with the Presidency. Will the River State governor survive or will he go down like other governors who fell out of favour with Aso Rock. The days ahead will tell.

My life under threat, Amaechi cries out … as PDP suspends him

My life under threat, Amaechi cries out … as PDP suspends him Hours after he was suspended from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, yesterday, solicited prayers from citizens of the state against desperate persons who he claimed were after his life. The suspension of Amaechi from the party was agreed during an unscheduled and unusually early morning meeting of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party at the residence of the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. The meeting, Vanguard learnt, commenced at 8.00 a.m. The meeting came two days ahead of the regular meeting of the NWC which normally holds on Wednesdays. It was also three days after Amaechi beat the odds with his re-election as chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF. He had been allegedly opposed by the PDP Governors’ Forum, PDP-GF ahead of the election. Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State The governor spoke amidst strong opposition from his loyalists and some party chieftains over what they described as the continued reign of lawlesness in the party. Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar in a sharp reaction called on the founders of the party to mobilise against what he described as the party’s slip towards disintegration. The suspension of the governor was, however, welcomed by the newly inaugurated Rivers State executive of the PDP that is opposed to the governor. The governor’s suspension was hinged on what the party described as his refusal to order the reinstatement of members of the Obio Akpor Local Government executive who were suspended from office by the orders of the Rivers State House of Assembly upon allegations of corruption raised against the LG executive. Hours after the suspension was announced, the party at a press conference said that it had constituted a committee headed by Mr. Joe Gadzama, SAN, to probe allegations raised against Amaechi. Other members of the committee are PDP National Legal Adviser, Victor Kwon; Inalegwu Onche, Friday Nwosu, Udorji Amedu, Ola Kukuyi, Wakil Mohammed, Yusuf Jangwe, Mrs Bola Doherty, Mr. Tanimu Adamson and Anicho Okoro as Secretary. The time frame for the committee’s assignment was, however, not given. NGF crisis assumes new dimension However, Vanguard gathered, yesterday ,that the crisis rocking the Nigeria Governors’ Forum has taken a new dimension, with the Governor Jonah Jang-led parallel faction appointing Mr. Osaro Onaiwo as Sole Administrator of Jang’s office in Maitama, Abuja. He is to act pending the appointment of a substantive director-general. In the statement conveying the governor’s suspension issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh, yesterday, the party said: “The National Working Committee at its emergency meeting on Monday, May 27, 2013 considered the petition submitted by the PDP Rivers Executive Committee against His Excellency, Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the Executive Governor of Rivers State for violating Articles 58 1 (b), (c ), (h) and (m) of the PDP Constitution following his refusal to obey the lawful directive of the Rivers State Executive Committee to rescind his decision dissolving the elected Executive Council of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. “The National Working Committee after preliminary hearing, in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 57 (3), 59 (3), 59 (5) and 29 (2.b), hereby suspends the Executive Governor of River State, Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as a member of the PDP and refers the matter to the appropriate disciplinary committee of the Party. “This is in furtherance of the determination of the leadership of the party to enforce discipline at all levels within the party.” My life under threat — Amaechi Reacting to his suspension during an interactive session with youths of the state, Amaechi called for prayers saying that desperate people who he claimed did not follow the due process of hearing from him could also be after his life. He, however, vowed that God who kept him in the face of the six-month intrigues that preceded his inauguration in 2007 would also see him through. The interactive session with the youths with the theme: “Consolidating on Rivers of our Dreams” took place at the Banquet Hall of Government House, Port Harcourt. Noting the desperation of his foes, he said: “The way these people at the federal level are desperate, they may come after my life. So when you pray, remember to pray for me to remain alive. “Who has power to suspend Obio/Akpor council? Now you see political witch-hunting; it is so ridiculous, my party must rise above political witch-hunting. The Governor did not suspend Obio/Akpor council, I hope you know. My power is to dissolve and remit it to the House of Assembly, but I have not done that yet, what the Assembly has said is ‘we are investigating corruption’ then the party says we should not investigate corruption, is that fair?”. Amaechi said the NWC issued a press statement to suspend him without any invitation and fair hearing. “I was not invited by the National Working Committee of PDP, I was not given fair hearing. What I heard was ‘why did I refuse to reinstate the suspended Obio/Akpor Council executive? Who suspended them?’, he asked. His question received the enthusiastic response of the youths who chorused: “The Rivers State House of Assembly.” Again the governor asked, ‘who has the power to investigate Obio/Akpor council executive?”. The Youths again replied: “The State Assembly.” “If they are not guilty, then they will re-instate them, but if they are guilty, then we will ask for the dissolution of the council. We have not even gone half, and the Party (PDP) says re-instate them. It means that the party likes corruption. Let the Assembly resume and commence investigation, let’s see what goes on. Whether there is corruption or not, it is the business of the Assembly. I have been a Speaker, and I know the powers of a Speaker and the legislature. I used it when I was a Speaker”, Amaechi said. “What is the police still doing at the Obio/Akpor Council building? The court gave an order to the Police to vacate Obio/Akpor Council, they disobeyed, and the police are still stationed there”, he said. “The Federal Government does not care, they only stationed police at Obio/Akpor council, even if everybody dies, they don’t care. Now the whole state will be grounded, because the police have refused to vacate the Obio/Akpor Council Secretariat. They don’t want to know, we are not important to the federal government, we are not important at all”, Amaechi lamented. “You know what it took for us to stop militancy in the state. But only last week, they now organized militants to return to the streets of Port Harcourt, is that not shameful. You all know how the militants spent our money, raped our women, killed our parents and young men. Immediately the militants stopped protesting, the police said, nobody should protest again”, Amaechi stated. “Internal democracy is important in our party, they fought me with everything, and I still won the Nigeria Governors’ Forum election, what should they do? They should have joined me to thank God. Because what it means is that God has spoken. It happened when I was in Ghana, I fasted and prayed for six months, 6am to 6pm, and God made me Governor. I will not leave PDP — Amaechi “I will not leave the PDP. I will go to court. The plane (aircraft) issue is same politics, pure politics. For one year plus, a minister refused to sign import permit. I’m sure you are aware of the House of Representatives Committee report on the plane issue.” On the NGF election, Governor Amaechi said: “You will see it on the internet when the Governors were voting, all the governors were there and you will also see the counting. We (Governors) agreed to vote, and all the governors voted, so any governor who said he didn’t vote is lying against the nation because all of us are on oath to govern properly. So we should not lie, every governor voted, you will see the video. If we leaders of Nigeria today are refusing to accept the results of a properly organized election supervised by the Director-General of the Governors’ Forum, and somebody brought a paper that was signed in April. If you check that list, it was signed in April and you brought it on May 24 after the Governors have finished voting their chairman into office; that list is not part of our election. There is a rumour that they want to go to court to stop me as NGF chairman. We are ready to meet them in court but they should not go through the backdoor to get an order ”, Amaechi said. Meantime, the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs Ibim Semenitari has described the suspension of the governor by his party as worrisome, adding that it was witch hunting. “We are concerned as we believe this is political witch-hunt. It is worrisome. The reason given is the suspension of the Obio/Akpor council. This is purely a legislative matter and one in accordance to the laws of local government councils in Rivers State.” On his part, the Chief of Staff Government House, Mr Tony Okocha said the action of the party made no sense. “The suspension makes no sense. How can you suspend the governor if you talk of rule of law? There are indices of the rule of law. Nobody called the governor for hearing on any issue. The whole thing makes no sense.” When contacted for comment, the Publicity Secretary of the Chief Godspower Ake-led faction of the PDP in the state, Mr George Wogba said they had not been formally informed of the action of the party. The Felix Obuah led PDP on its part supported the suspension. Publicity Secretary of the faction, Mr Nwanosike Samuel who spoke also said the governor did not win the NGF election. The Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Otelemaba Amachree declined comment on the development. His media aide, Mr Jim Opiki said his boss would not want to say anything on the development at the moment. Former National Deputy Chairman of the All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP) Chief Asukewe Iko-Awaji, faulted the suspension saying it was a violation of democratic tenets. “I don’t want to talk much about PDP as a party, but what you must know is the role of a party and that of government; they are different. That PDP suspends Amaechi does not remove him from office as governor”, he ended. Stakeholders react Reactions to the development also flowed from several stakeholders in the polity yesterday. Among those who spoke yesterday were the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC; the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP; former Minister of Petroleum, Prof. Tam David-West; constitutional lawyer, Prof. Itse Sagay; former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sir Austin Opara; member of the PDP Board of Trustees, BoT, Chief Segun Babatope; former member of the House of Representatives, Dr. Junaid Mohammed; civil rights activist cum lawyer, Bamidele Aturu; spokesman of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin among others. CPC “In the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), we are appalled by the sordid affair that the recently concluded chairmanship election of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) degenerated into. What started as a spat between the Party’s National leader and Nation’s President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan and the NGF’s re-elected Chairman, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has now snow-balled into the suspension of the latter! We are aware that the PDP’s national leadership was miffed by Governor Amaechi’s victory, despite the high-wire opposition that the Presidency mounted to forestall it. The anti-Amaechi governors that are being prodded by the Presidency are clearly unaware of the buffoonery of their claims that a pre-election endorsement easily translated to the votes garnered by their candidate (Chief Jonah Jang) at the Governors’ election. This, again, attests to the opprobrious level that the PDP ‘s degeneration can be!” Presidency has been reduced to pettiness —David-West “Jonathan is very confused because in a democracy there are provisions for separation of powers. And that was what happened on the dissolution of Obi Akpor Local Government Executive Council. It was not Amaechi that did it, rather it was an act of parliament and the parliament is allowed under the law to do so. There were allegations of financial mismanagement by the community and the parliament came in to perform its duties as required by the laws.” The people advising Jonathan are misleading him. How they can unleash crisis on the state because of disagreements with Amaechi. He is just confused on how to oust Amaechi.” PDP’ll suffer it at the end —Sagay “We all know that he was suspended because he contested and defeated the PDP’s and president’s candidate at the elections. Whenever the PDP goes about displaying contempt and persecuting its leading lights, then it has embarked on a path of self destruction. How can a man be treated like that for exercising his legal and human rights. The PDP has always displayed contempt for the rule of law and democracy. The PDP will suffer more and not Amaechi because Amaechi is a good example and a good model. He is a shining model and the party is a contravention of that. They have succeeded in adding to Amaechi’s status as one of the leading lights of the party. In other words the party will suffer for this at the end.” Amaechi won the NGF election — Junaid Mohammed What has happened is unfortunate and it will be sad if the media believes anything coming from this Presidency and its handlers about this Nigerian Governors Forum crises.” I want to believe many Nigerians know what is happening today is not accidental, it is being manoeuvred for the simple purpose of tenure elongation for President Jonathan come 2015. I believe in a democracy, nobody should be afraid of election, nobody should be rattled with the outcome of the NGF election. When things like this happens, democracy is being dismantled little by little. NGF crises is heating up the polity — Odumakin Nigerian Governors Forum, (NGF) is not a constitutional body but a think-thank for the governors. The Governors were elected to govern their state and not unionise. Infact most of the Governors have abandoned their state projects because of the politics of NGF and playing unionism over the place. It is a shame that 35 governors will bend the rules and they cannot hold a peaceful election among themselves and now they want to tie the nation down. Amaechi should allow himself to be led — Opara It is an indication of selfishness on the part of some players who believe that they must lead. Their principle and theory is that they must rule and not be follower. Otherwise, there are 36 members in the forum and 19 members are standing behind one person and simple arithmetic shows that the person is the winner. My belief is that if you don’t have the majority, then you follow, must you always lead? I believe the crises in the Governors forum is because somebody believes he must lead and never be led. My advice for Governor Amaechi is that he should be fair and follow the Governor Jang leadership because he enjoyed the same when he led the majority. He should subject himself to the leadership of Governor Jang so that we can have peace in this country. Party position is supreme —Babatope Nobody can be greater than the party, nobody can be bigger than his party, the party is supreme and that is the norm all over the world. Because of this NGF crises, we now have a situation whereby opposition parties are rooting for the destruction of the country. I think the best thing the party can do in that circumstance is to suspend such person and send him to the disciplinary committee. I am appealing to the party to ensure Governor Amaechi is given all the democratic rights to defend himself before the National Working Committee of the party. Governor Amaechi is a brilliant man, but in a situation whereby advises to Amaechi, the party must ensure he is disciplined. CNPP We have already cautioned Mr President not to pander into the hands of anti-democrats, as Amechi’s victory is victory for democracy and harbinger of what we expect in 2015. The era of African BIg Man is gone forever in Nigeria. A bad omen —Peterside This is an inauspicious moment to suspend a popular governor who is not only marking his 48th birthday today but was also a few days ago, re-elected by his colleagues in Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF as Chairman. This news is baffling and a major blow to lovers of democracy because it violates the right of an individual to associate freely, to vote and be voted for in any democratic process. The NGF is not an extension of PDP, and thus cannot be governed by the constitution of the PDP. This is also a major impediment to PDP’s future as a party. As Governor Amaechi is seen in Nigeria today as one of the most outstanding governors. What would it benefit a political party to suspend its most performing governor? It is unfortunate — Seconte Davis, (PDP Rivers) This is the only time I have heard that somebody is punished for winning. If canvassing for the support of his colleagues is a crime, why is the defeated ‘anointed candidate’ not equally suspended since he has opposition members like Peter Obi and Olusegun Mimiko who supported him. Those who play or want to play God should not forget that power belongs to God and he gives it to whomever and however it pleases him Femi Gbajabiamilla, Minority Leader, (ACN Lagos) It tells you how low a government will go when desperate. This is an accidental government. There is supposed to be an art and a science to governance but this one possesses neither. First it is the state assembly members that were purportedly suspended and now its the governor. Datti Ahmed (CPC, Kaduna), Deputy Minority Whip We in the opposition are very happy about what is happening in the PDP. It is nemesis and it shows that PDP is on its way to the grave. Everyday is for the thief and one day is for the owner. It is the injustice that they have done that is haunting them. They are expelling the democrats among them. Let them suspend more; we are waiting for them. This is the right time for them to join the opposition.” Kingsley Chinda (PDP) Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency. “I have said that party is superior to its members. Without discipline we cannot progress. However, fairness, equity and due process must be complied with.”

Ikwerre cult war

PORT HARCOURT — Three persons have been shot dead in renewed supremacy battle between Degban and Dewell cult gangs in Omuawa community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State. The supremacy clash which resumed Sunday night also resulted to the arrest of five suspected cultists by the Rivers State Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). Jonah Nnnana, a resident who recounted the gun battle said: “It was bloody. The fight was started at about 6:30pm by members of Degban cult said to be avenging the death of their members killed in earlier battle with the Dewell cult in a neighbouring community not long ago.” He said innocent residents caught in the fierce shooting also sustained various degrees of gunshots injury as most people deserted the village to neighbouring communities for safety. Mr. Welendu Obilor, member of the local vigilance group in the area said people had to make distress calls to SARS whose swift response helped to calm the situations. He said: “SARS intervention resulted in the arrest of five suspected cultists. We are calling on the police to concentrate investigation in the locality and see to the arrest of the kingpins to forestall further insecurity of lives and property of the innocent in our community.” 3 killed in renewed Ikwerre cult war

OVERCOME FEAR

OVERCOME FEAR Fear is a deceptive tool used by satan that has robbed millions of a victorious life in Christ Jesus. For fear changes focus on God. It is a forceful wind that is capable of changing man’s position. One moment you’re on course, the next, you’re sinking. Remember Peter. Peter wanted to walk on water. One moment, he was on course – “Yes, I’m saved; Jesus is my Saviour. I’m healed; Jesus is my Healer. I’m redeemed…” All he had to do was to continue to look forward to the One who had conquered fear for him, the One who had conquered his past – Jesus Christ. But the next moment he was sinking. We cannot make spiritual progress by looking back. Peter was sinking because of fear, anxiety, insecurity and worry. These were the things that constituted his past. Our Lord, Jesus Christ has warned us against going back to the world and flesh. He has warned us against looking back to the world we had already renounced. He has warned us to avoid looking at the situation in the natural, as we once did for Jesus Christ has conquered all the forces of hell and death for our sake. So, what is your business with fear? Jesus Christ has overcome! “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18).

We don’t care about Nigerians opinions on Amaechi’s suspension – PDP

We don’t care about Nigerians opinions on Amaechi’s suspension – PDP PDP Akpabio, Amaechi and Bamanga TukurFew hours after it announced the suspension of the Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday raised an 11-member committee to investigate the petition by some members of the party in the state against the governor. The party also said that the opinions of Nigerian members of the public do not matter or influence its decision as a party. The party also washed its hand off the crisis in the Nigeria Governors’ Forum(NGF), over the latter’s election last week, which led to two PDP governors laying claim to the headship of the Forum. The investigative panel, according to the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, at a news conference in Abuja, is headed by Joe Gadzama, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN. Other members are Victor Kwon, Inalegwu Onche, Friday Nwosu, Udorji Amedu, Ola Kukuyi, and Wakil Mohammed. Yusuf Jangwe, Bola Doherty, Tanimu Adamson are also members; while Anicho Okoro is to serve as secretary. The investigative panel, which “is expected to handle all matters in connection with NWC decision suspending the governor,” was not given any time frame within which to conclude its assignment as Mr. Metuh said it would be announced later. Suspension not related to Governors Forum The PDP had, in a statement earlier in the day, announced Mr. Amaechi’s suspension over the crisis in the Rivers State chapter of the party. However, pundits suspect that the governor was suspended because of the crisis in the NGF, whose chairmanship seat he reclaimed after defeating his Plateau State counterpart, Jonah Jang, alleged to have been sponsored by the Presidency and the ruling party. Mr. Metuh, while responding to questions, debunked the insinuation that the party suspended Mr. Amaechi because of his role in the NGF crisis, saying that the NWC received the report since last week and had to act on it on Monday (this week.) “I can confirm to you that the NWC received this report of the issue last week. The petition we received from the state executive committee of Rivers State is public knowledge,” he said. Mr. Metuh’s claim conflicts with that of the party chairman, Bamanga Tukur, who said on Sunday that the Rivers PDP was yet to inform the national secretariat of its crisis with the governor. The PDP spokesman further justified Monday’s emergency meeting to suspend the Rivers Governor. “We did not wait till after the election. NWC meets on Wednesdays and because next Wednesday is a public holiday that is why we held an emergency meeting today.” “We must refer the petition to a committee and that is why the NWC has set up this committee to handle it.” “The state party did not handle the matter of the governor. They referred it to the NWC to handle. Now we have set up an investigative panel immediately because of the suspension of the governor, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, from the party pending the outcome of the investigative panel,” he said. He said that the party does not have any direct dealing with the NGF, which he described as a non-partisan body and therefore could not have suspended Mr. Amaechi over the controversy trailing the election. According to him, the PDP is only concerned about the party’s Governors Forum led by the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, which it set up last February, adding that it is only the governors that attended the meeting where the NGF’s election held that could speak on the matter. “Let me state it clearly that the leadership of PDP believes that NGF is a non-partisan body constituted by all governors from all the parties in Nigeria. We do not have direct dealing with NGF,” he said. “The outcome of the election, the reactions, whatever happens we expect the governors who attended the meeting to speak. As a party, we will only concern ourselves with the activities of the PDP Governors’ Forum.” We don’t care about Nigerians opinions The PDP spokesman said the party does not bother about how Nigerians view its actions or the impression its action would create in the minds of the public, insisting that the Mr. Amaechi was not suspended over the NGF crisis. “You do not take a decision because you want to make the public glad but what is in the interest of the party,” he said. He said the party did not commit any procedural error by suspending Mr. Amaechi before setting the investigate panel, noting that the committee had since been constituted. Asked if President Goodluck Jonathan, as the leader of the party, was consulted before the panel was set up, he said the NWC was capable of taking any decision on issues affecting the party. Mr. Metuh said, “The constitution gives the NWC the right and the discretion to handle the affairs of the party. We have not had any reason to set up a disciplinary committee and investigative committee in the first instance and because this issue has come up under our constitution we must set up a committee to look at it.” He debunked the claim the NWC relied on the party’s constitution that has not been adopted by the convention to suspend Mr. Amaechi. According to Mr. Metuh, the constitution was adopted by the national convention of the party in 2012, noting that when it was taken for printing, there were some spelling and grammatical error which needed to be corrected. He added that the National Executive Committee, NEC, does not need to ratify what the convention had approved.

ONLY BELIEVE BY T.B. JOSHUA

ONLY BELIEVE by the tb T.B. JOSHUA T.B. JOSHUA Prophet T.B. Joshua encouraged viewers worldwide this weekend when he stated that we must be awake to the fact of what Jesus said in Mark 5:36, ‘Do not be afraid; only believe’. If you can believe, the worry and anxiety vanishes. Some human plan or your mind may come between you and God’s Word but rest upon what God says, ‘If you can believe’. The kind of rest I am talking about is real, genuine, natural. It is not a pretentious calm, unnatural self restraint, acting as if nothing has happened. If our hearts are uneasy and restless, if we are afraid of this and that, this shows we have not yet believed. We must believe and rest unconditionally and absolutely upon the Word of God. Take note – faith does not rest in itself; God is the place where faith rests. This is our rest. Prophet T.B. Joshua continued by stating, “As for me and my house, I have no other refuge than this command of Jesus, ‘Only believe’ ”. With these words ringing in their hearts, the congregation was energised in their faith and listened to testimonies of those who received the end to their worry and anxiety through the medium of the Anointing Water. INJURED SPINAL CORD RESTORED MARY NANYANGWE [ SPINAL CORD ] MARY NANYANGWE [ SPINAL CORD ] Mary Nanyangwe had been involved in an accident on her way from her home in Zambia to Botswana and had experienced a terrible spinal cord injury and fracture in her knee. The doctors in Botswana gave her a large waist corset and a walker to protect her spinal cord. She was bedridden and could not turn her back or neck. The doctors booked her for an operation, telling her that the operation may leave her paralysed for life. If not, she would spend 2 years in the hospital before she would be able to walk. A nurse found her crying one day and connected Emmanuel TV in the hospital room for her to watch. She began watching and saw the Anointing Water. The nurse then brought her the Anointing Water and she ministered it the day before she was to go for the operation. In the morning, the doctor called and told her that the operation had been rescheduled. She rejoiced and continued to minister the Anointing Water. Before the operation, they redid her x-rays. The doctors had wanted to take T11 bone and put in a plate. The result of the x-ray showed that the bone of T11 started coming out all by itself. They were amazed and cancelled the operation! That night, she dreamt that Prophet T.B. Joshua, standing on the altar, was holding three plates. He showed her the one the doctors wanted to fix and said, “This is what the doctors want to operate on but God said I should do the operation myself”. When she woke up, she was immediately able to stand up, bend and walk! Not only was her spinal cord healed but her knee was also restored! Everything that had been damaged was restored, in Jesus’ name through the medium of the Anointing Water and a woman, once paralysed on a hospital bed, walked and moved freely in front of the congregation, encouraging all in their faith for a miracle! HEALING IS JUST LIKE BREATING – HEALED OF 10 YEARS OF SLEEP APNEA AGYEI BOATENG [SLEEP APNEA] AGYEI BOATENG [SLEEP APNEA] Agyei Boateng, a businessman from Ghana came with the problem of sleep apnea which he had suffered from for 10 years. He used a breathing machine every night and the doctors told him he must use it for the rest of his life. If he did not use it, he would stop breathing in the night. He went to many different hospitals around the world for a solution but the only solution was the breathing machine. His daughter introduced him to Emmanuel TV where they saw the power of God in action. He then accompanied his daughter to The SCOAN where he was arranged in the prayer line. Prophet T.B. Joshua met them in the prayer line and gave his daughter the Anointing Water to spray on her father. The prophet then gave the Anointing Water to him to spray on himself. As he sprayed it, he received his healing. Instantly, he removed the breathing machine and breathed freely. That night, he slept peacefully and deeply for the first time in 10 years without the machine! APPOINTED TO ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PUBLIC AND INTERNATIONAL LAW Dr Wilson Nyako Tamfuh, for three years had written and published articles nationally and internationally. He fulfilled all requirements to become associate professor. DR WILSON NYAKO TAMFUH [ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ] DR WILSON NYAKO TAMFUH [ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ] He applied but was denied in 2010. In 2011, he applied again but was denied. In 2012, he came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. He immediately sprayed the Anointing Water on his application documents in the name of Jesus Christ. The moment he returned to Cameroon, he received a message that the third promotion was taking place. A panel then interviewed him and told him he was fully qualified and they would appoint him as an associate professor in the College of Law. He was given a large office and a three bedroom house. Showing his appointment letter and ID Card, he appreciated God for His breakthrough power in the Anointing Water. HUSBAND RESCUED FROM A MOTOR ACCIDENT SIBONGILE KHUBISA [CAR ACCIDENT] SIBONGILE KHUBISA [CAR ACCIDENT] Mrs Sibongile Khubisa, a South African married to a professor of education in South Africa, received the Anointing Water from someone who had visited The SCOAN in Nigeria. As she woke up one faithful morning, she was inspired to pray over her husband’s vehicle using the Anointing Water. Later that day, her husband drove the same vehicle to work. Three hours after her husband left home, she received a call that there had been a ghastly motor accident and her husband had been killed. Trusting in the power of God in the Anointing Water which she had sprayed over his vehicle, she confessed God’s protection over her husband’s life. In faith, she called her husband’s phone. After the first ring, the call was answered and to her great relief, she heard her husband’s voice! He told her that there had indeed been a serious accident but by the grace of God, he was perfectly okay and there was no injury sustained from the accident. To God be the glory! FARMING FAMINE ENDED AS ANOINTING WATER BRINGS ABOUT A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST A viewer of Emmanuel TV from Benue, Nigeria was Mr Joshua Kanyitor, a farmer of yams and groundnuts who was suffering from failure in farming for 5 years as his crops constantly perished. He came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. Mr Joshua Kanyitor Mr Joshua Kanyitor He returned to his farm and washed his seeds in the Anointing Water before planting them. That harvest season, all of the seeds developed into beautiful, large-sized yams and he harvested 1,800 tubers of yam. He reminded all of Prophet T.B. Joshua's “Prophecies For Individuals For 2013”, in which he prophesied that 2013 would bring a boom for those involved in agricultural and foodstuff businesses. Let us thank God for His Word and His breakthrough in our lives! AN ASTONISHING APPOINTMENT TRINIDAD ROBERT TRINIDAD ROBERT Trinidad Robert was working as an English and Spanish translator but had been jobless for 2 years. She was also pregnant during that period and life was very hard for her. Her sister introduced her to Emmanuel TV and invited her to watch with her. When Prophet T.B. Joshua began the viewer’s prayer, she prayed along and touched the screen of the TV. She suddenly felt vibrations all over her body. The following morning, she received a phone call from a subcontractor at the American Embassy that she should come to the embassy for an interview. She was worried about her appearance because she was nine months pregnant and would be interviewing with smart, well-dressed ladies. After the interviews, they were all leaving the embassy together. As she walked out with the smart-looking ladies, she received a phone call that she should quickly come back inside the embassy. As she entered, they congratulated her and told her that she had the job! She started work the next day and after working for only 6 days, the embassy told her they were sending her to Spain to deliver her baby, at their own expense. She spent one month in Madrid, delivered her baby and returned to the job they kept for her while she was gone. After some months of work, she was able to build a five bedroom house for her and her child in Equatorial Guinea. She testified that this was a major miracle in her life as previously, she was living in a one-room stick house. She also began construction on a house in Nigeria and showed photos of her two houses and the car she owns in Nigeria. ADDICTION TO 10 YEARS OF ALCOHOLISM BROKEN DURING VIEWER’S PRAYER WITH PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA ADDICTION TO 10 YEARS OF ALCOHOLISM BROKEN ADDICTION TO 10 YEARS OF ALCOHOLISM BROKEN A visitor to The SCOAN from Malawi was addicted to drinking alcohol for 10 years. She could drink up to 24 bottles of alcohol a day. She began watching Emmanuel TV and one day, decided to join Prophet T.B. Joshua in prayer through the screen of Emmanuel TV. She placed her hand on the screen during the prayer and suddenly began to vomit. Later that day, she tried to drink a bottle of alcohol. She was no longer able to stand the smell or taste and found herself vomiting again. Since that day, she has not had any drink of alcohol. The prayer she joined with Prophet T.B. Joshua took place four years ago and she has been free for that entire period of time! DELIVERED OF ADDICTION TO EATING SOAP AND CANDLES FOR SEVEN YEARS ADDICTION TO EATING SOAP AND CANDLES ADDICTION TO EATING SOAP AND CANDLES A man addicted to eating soap and candles for seven years was also delivered in Jesus’ name by prayer from one of the wise men. According to him, he preferred eating these items to normal food. ADDICTION TO EATING SOAP AND CANDLES ADDICTION TO EATING SOAP AND CANDLES As one of the wise men prayed for him, the evil spirit behind the addiction began to manifest and was cast out of his life in that powerful name of Jesus Christ. After the prayer, the wise man asked him to taste the candles and soap, as he did before. Upon tasting the soap, he spat it out and said it was meant for washing clothes, not eating. Upon taking candle in his hands and putting it to his mouth, he explained that he could not eat it as it was meant for bringing light to a dark place, not for consuming. Glory be to God, another captive of satan has been set free! DELIVERED OF ADDICTION TO EATING MOULDED CEMENT BLOCKS CEMENT BLOCKS ADDICTION CEMENT BLOCKS ADDICTION We witnessed the deliverance of a lady who was addicted to eating moulded cement blocks. This addiction caused her the spirit of anger. Anytime she was angry, the evil spirit would speak to her heart to destroy things. There was even a time the evil spirit drove her to take a knife and attempt to stab her brother. Her mother grabbed the knife from her and her plan was destroyed. Full of anger, she heard the evil spirit again speak to her to eat another portion of the moulded cement block to calm her down. This was how her mother discovered that she was addicted to eating moulded cement blocks. CEMENT BLOCKS ADDICTION CEMENT BLOCKS ADDICTION As one of the wise men prayed for her, the chain that satan had used to connect her to himself was broken, in Jesus’ name. After deliverance, she attempted to eat moulded cement blocks but she immediately spat it out, stating that it was bitter and hurt her teeth. To God be the glory; she is delivered! “I SLAPPED THE GROUND AND A GUN APPEARED” – DELIVERANCE TESTIMONY Fourteen year old Justin had led the life of a top pupil, always working hard to stay at the top of his class until the age of eleven when he was initiated into a secret cult in his school. He hungered for more evil powers which led him to many witch doctors who made several charms for him. JUSTIN JUSTIN They also made incisions in his body where some of the diabolic powers were implanted. Justin Pius explained some of the charms inserted into him would allow him to slap a person and the person would not be able to get up, cause people to start eating grass until he used the charm in his foot to release them, allow him to hit someone and cause that area of their body to be torn open and become an open sore like cancer, to make demands for money or any other thing that would be granted and to be protected from bullets and blades. If he wore an occult ring, drew a gun on the floor and hit the drawing, a gun would physically appear and he would use it with his gang. He began robbing fellow students of their phones and valuables and then sold them in order to be able to buy cigarettes and alcohol. He was also fighting with his teachers and had begun to prepare charms for his fellow classmates and was looking forward to becoming a witch doctor. When he came with his family to The SCOAN, Wise Man Harry was used by God to arrest and deliver the evil spirit out of the young man’s life in the name of Jesus Christ. The evil spirit confessed all its evil deeds and plans in Justin’s life and was then cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. Justin came out to testify with his family that the evil thoughts had left him since the deliverance and his desire now was not for charms or evil power but for a relationship with Jesus and a new pursuit of his educational career. Truly, Jesus Christ receives repentant souls. The worst of sins can be forgiven! OBEY HIS INSTRUCTIONS – WISE MAN JOHN CHI WISEMAN JOHNCHI WISEMAN JOHNCHI The power of God demonstrated throughout the services this weekend prompted all who witnessed them to lay their souls under God’s influences and operations, taking the best course to secure themselves and, as Wise Man John Chi admonished the congregation in his message on Palm Sunday, to “OBEY HIS INSTRUCTIONS”. In Matthew 21:1-3, Jesus did not send His disciples to look around for a donkey. The Bible says He sent His disciples to a particular one that was tied at a specific place. This was an instruction in righteousness, an instruction in power, an instruction in confidence and the disciples obeyed. Obeying God at first seems hard until we come to see that all He asks is for our good and makes life full and free. The way of obedience is the way of a bright future. Obedience is the only proof of our faith in Him.

Luke 22:14-23:56 (or Luke 23:1-49)

Luke 22:14-23:56 (or Luke 23:1-49) 14 When the hour came, Jesus took his place at table with the apostles. 15 He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer, 16 for, I tell you, I shall not eat it again until there is fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” 17 Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and said, “Take this and share it among yourselves; 18 for I tell you that from this time on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 Then he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me.” 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which will be shed for you. 21 And yet behold, the hand of the one who is to betray me is with me on the table; 22 for the Son of Man indeed goes as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed.” 23 And they began to debate among themselves who among them would do such a deed. 24 Then an argument broke out among them about which of them should be regarded as the greatest. 25 He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles Lord it over them and those in authority over them are addressed as ‘Benefactors;’ 26 but among you it shall not be so. Rather, let the greatest among you be as the youngest, and the leader as the servant. 27 For who is greater: the one seated at table or the one who serves? Is it not the one seated at table? I am among you as the one who serves. 28 It is you who have stood by me in my trials; 29 and I confer a kingdom on you, just as my Father has conferred one on me, 30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 31 “Simon, Simon, behold Satan has demanded to sift all of you like wheat, 32 but I have prayed that your own faith may not fail; and once you have turned back, you must strengthen your brothers.” 33 He said to him, “Lord, I am prepared to go to prison and to die with you.” 34 But he replied, “I tell you, Peter, before the cock crows this day, you will deny three times that you know me.” 35 He said to them, “When I sent you forth without a money bag or a sack or sandals, were you in need of anything?” “No, nothing,” they replied. 36 He said to them, “But now one who has a money bag should take it, and likewise a sack, and one who does not have a sword should sell his cloak and buy one. 37 For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me, namely, ‘He was counted among the wicked’; and indeed what is written about me is coming to fulfillment.” 38 Then they said, “Lord, look, there are two swords here.” But he replied, “It is enough!” 39 Then going out he went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed Him. 40 When he arrived at the place he said to them, “Pray that you may not undergo the test.” 41 After withdrawing about a stone’s throw from them and kneeling, he prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done.” 43 And to strengthen him an angel from heaven appeared to him. 44 He was in such agony and he prayed so fervently that his sweat became like drops of blood falling on the ground. 45 When he rose from prayer and returned to his disciples, he found them sleeping from grief. 46 He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not undergo the test.” 47 While he was still speaking, a crowd approached and in front was one of the Twelve, a man named Judas. He went up to Jesus to kiss him. 48 Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” 49 His disciples realized what was about to happen, and they asked, “Lord, shall we strike with a sword?” 50 And one of them struck the high priest’s servant and cut off his right ear. 51 But Jesus said in reply, “Stop, no more of this!” Then he touched the servant’s ear and healed him. 52 And Jesus said to the chief priests and temple guards and elders who had come for him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? 53 Day after day I was with you in the temple area, and you did not seize me; but this is your hour, the time for the power of darkness.” 54 After arresting him, they led him away and took him into the house of the high priest; Peter was following at a distance. 55 They lit a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat around it, and Peter sat down with them. 56 When a maid saw him seated in the light, she looked intently athim and said, “This man, too, was with him.” 57 But he denied it saying, “Woman, I do not know him.” 58 A short while later someone else saw him and said, “You, too, are one of them”; but Peter answered, “My friend, I am not.” 59 About an hour later, still another insisted, “Assuredly, this man, too, was with him, for he also is a Galilean.” 60 But Peter said, “My friend, I do not know what you are talking about.” Just as he was saying this, the cock crowed, 61 and the Lord turned and looked at Peter; and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the cock crows today, you will deny me three times.” 62 He went out and began to weep bitterly. 63 The men who held Jesus in custody were ridiculing and beating him. 64 They blindfolded him and questioned him, saying, “Prophesy! Who is it that struck you?” 65 And they reviled him in saying many other things against him. 66 When day came, the council of elders of the people met, both chief priests and scribes, and they brought him before their Sanhedrin. 67 They said, “If you are the Christ, tell us,” but he replied to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe, 68 and if I question, you will not respond. 69 But from this time on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” 70 They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?” He replied to them, “You say that I am.” 71 Then they said, “What further need have we for testimony? We have heard it from his own mouth.” 23: 1 Then the whole assembly of them arose and brought him before Pilate. 2 They brought charges against him, saying, “We found this man misleading our people; he opposes the payment of taxes to Caesar and maintains that he is the Christ, a King.” 3 Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He said to him in reply, “You say so.” 4 Pilate then addressed the chief priests and the crowds, “I find this man not guilty.” 5 But they were adamant and said, “He is inciting the people with his teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where he began, even to here.” 6 On hearing this Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean; 7 and upon learning that he was under Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod who was in Jerusalem at that time. 8 Herod was very glad to see Jesus; he had been wanting to see him for a long time, for he had heard about him and had been hoping to see him perform some sign. 9 He questioned him at length, but he gave him no answer. 10 The chief priests and scribes, meanwhile, stood by accusing him harshly. 11 Herod and his soldiers treated him contemptuously and mocked him, and after clothing him in resplendent garb, he sent him back to Pilate. 12 Herod and Pilate became friends that very day, even though they had been enemies formerly. 13 Pilate then summoned the chief priests, the rulers, and the people 14 and said to them, “You brought this man to me and accused him of inciting the people to revolt. I have conducted my investigation in your presence and have not found this man guilty of the charges you have brought against him, 15 nor did Herod, for he sent him back to us. So no capital crime has been committed by him. 16 Therefore I shall have him flogged and then release him.” 17 18 But all together they shouted out, “Away with this man! Release Barabbas to us.” 19 Now Barabbas had been imprisoned for a rebellion that had taken place in the city and for murder. 20 Again Pilate addressed them, still wishing to release Jesus, 21 but they continued their shouting, “Crucify him! Crucify him!” 22 Pilate addressed them a third time, “What evil has this man done? I found him guilty of no capital crime. Therefore I shall have him flogged and then release him.” 23 With loud shouts, however, they persisted in calling for his crucifixion, and their voices prevailed. 24 The verdict of Pilate was that their demand should be granted. 25 So he released the man who had been imprisoned for rebellion and murder, for whom they asked, and he handed Jesus over to them to deal with as they wished. 26 As they led him away, they took hold of a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming in from the country; and after laying the cross on him, they made him carry it behind Jesus. 27 A large crowd of people followed Jesus, including many women who mourned and lamented him. 28 Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep instead for yourselves and for your children, 29 for indeed, the days are coming when people will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed.’ 30 At that time, people will say to the mountains, ‘Fall upon us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us!’ 31 for if these things are done when the wood is green what will happen when it is dry?” 32 Now two others, both criminals, were led away with him to be executed. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him and the criminals there, one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” They divided his garments by casting lots. 35 The people stood by and watched; the rulers, meanwhile, sneered at him and said, “He saved others, let him save himself if he is the chosen one, the Christ of God.” 36 Even the soldiers jeered at him. As they approached to offer him wine, 37 they called out, “If you are King of the Jews, save yourself.” 38 Above him there was an inscription that read, “This is the King of the Jews.” 39 Now one of the criminals hanging there reviled Jesus, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us.” 40 The other, however, rebuking him, said in reply, “Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? 41 And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal.” 42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” 43 He replied to him, “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” 44 It was now about noon and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon 45 because of an eclipse of the sun. Then the veil of the temple was torn down the middle. 46 Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit”; and when he had said this, he breathed his last. 47 The centurion who witnessed what had happened glorified God and said, “This man was innocent beyond doubt.” 48 When all the people who had gathered for this spectacle saw what had happened, they returned home beating their breasts; 49 but all his acquaintances stood at a distance, including the women who had followed him from Galilee and saw these events. 50 Now there was a virtuous and righteous man named Joseph who, though he was a member of the council, 51 had not consented to their plan of action. He came from the Jewish town of Arimathea and was awaiting the Kingdom of God. 52 He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 After he had taken the body down, he wrapped it in a linen cloth and laid him in a rock-hewn tomb in which no one had yet been buried. 54 It was the day of preparation, and the sabbath was about to begin. 55 The women who had come from Galilee with him followed behind, and when they had seen the tomb and the way in which his body was laid in it, 56 they returned and prepared spices and perfumed oils. Then they rested on the sabbath according to the commandment. think: The mercy of God is available until the last moment of a person’s life.

Emmanuel TV. Lives were changed in a dramatic way

Fri, Sep 14, 2012 at 5:07 AM Sep 14, 2012 Message starred FROM Evans Nlemonwu TO 2 recipients Re: I WILL LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU? Show Details From Evans Nlemonwu Sunday 9th September 2012 proved to be a day that will long remain in the hearts of all those who were privileged to be among the congregation and the millions more viewing the service live on Emmanuel TV. Lives were changed in a dramatic way and people on the verge of committing suicide were given hope! The church service was, as usual, preceded by the prayer line, after which Prophet T.B. Joshua addressed the congregation about some questions he had received from viewers about fasting. Talking about the necessity of being led by the Holy Spirit in all actions, he explained that when you are not adopted by the Holy Ghost and you are fasting, you are only doing it for yourself. Image Prophet T.B. Joshua Referring the people to 1 Corinthians 12, he said, “Jesus is Lord” can only be said with genuineness through truth and faith. He explained the difference between Christians and religious people, stating that Christians know Jesus came to restore the relationship and fellowship between God and man. He spoke of the importance of examining all things in the light of God’s Word. The Holy Ghost, he said, is the light in God’s Word. God’s Word refreshes our mind; God’s Spirit renews our strength. It is God’s power working through His Word and His Spirit that brings about what we are in Christ Jesus. He said we can convince people but we cannot convert people. It is the Holy Spirit who converts. He said that true Christianity is all about adoption by the Holy Spirit. A FETISH PRIESTESS AND HER FAMILY RESTORED During a previous Sunday Service, Wise Man John Chi was praying for the congregation when he encountered Mrs Lovelace Nyame, a Togolese based in Ghana. During the time of her deliverance, the evil spirit within Lovelace exposed her role as a fetish priestess and custodian of an assortment of charms in their village which had been neglected for many years. As she manifested during that service, the spirit spoke that she was born to serve it and it had tormented her for many years until she finally succumbed to take up the devilish role intended for her. The demon further announced that almost the entirety of the family, even those who were staying overseas, were afflicted with a mental problem because of their gross neglect of these charms and the house built for them in the village. To the glory of God, the demon was defeated and she pulled off her beads, which symbolised her status, and dropped them on the floor of the church before finally falling to the ground. Image Mrs Lovelace Nyame The following week, as shown in the video, Lovelace led the Emmanuel TV team to her ancestral home in Togo, where she showed them the shrine and the evil contents it contained. She had returned to the church with some of her family members to rejoice at her wonderful deliverance which had rippled through to the entire family. Mrs Nyame explained how she had refused to take up the role she knew was intended for her but continued to move from calamity to calamity to the point where she was actually dumb for three months until she finally accepted to become a priestess. She explained how she used to fetch sacred water in the midnight when nobody could see her and fill one of the ritual pots at the location of the shrine with its contents. Such water would be used to prepare charms for those who came to her with various problems and afflictions. Another put was full of ‘cowries’, an ancient form of money that she also used to invoke riches for those who came seeking financial help. As a result of her activities, she said that many people had been initiated into darkness. Image Mrs Lovelace Nyame & Family Full of happiness at her total deliverance, she said, “I have a God bigger than smaller gods. I thank Prophet T.B. Joshua”. The family members rejoiced with her, testifying to the remarkable changes they had witnessed in her life since the deliverance. The prophet said the entire family would still receive prayer and congratulated them for the breakthrough. LIFE CHANGING! Next came the story of Pastor Ernest Davis and his wife from Lesotho. Having been delivered the previous week, the pastor had taken the Emmanuel TV crew to his church, Salvation Covenant Gospel Church Worldwide. It was a pitiable sight. The pastor was living in abject poverty, sleeping with his wife on the floor of the church and given just fourteen days to leave as his rent had expired. He explained how the once vibrant ministry had become a laughing stock with sometimes as little as six people in attendance at a Sunday Service. Unable to feed himself and his family and faced with the prospects of being sent out onto the streets, Pastor Ernest had actually hung a rope in preparation to commit suicide. It was in this mess that his wife, a keen viewer of Emmanuel TV when in Lesotho, encouraged him to visit The SCOAN for deliverance. Image Pastor Ernest Davis & wife Narrating his story to the moved congregation, Pastor Ernest explained how he was a first class degree holder in Marine Mechanical Engineering and had studied in Poland for over a year before returning to the position of a manager in his company in Nigeria. Things were smooth and he was accorded every privilege entitled to him as a manager, including his own house and a courtesy car. However, one day in his office, he heard a ‘voice’ calling him to leave his work and serve him. Confused and in inner turmoil, Pastor Ernest thought it was God’s call for him to abandon the work he loved and enter the ministry. Despite the qualms and discouragement of his work colleagues, he resigned and headed to theological school for training. After passing through Bible School, he worked with various ministries before establishing his own church. The first four years in his church had been progressive – miracles were happening and the church was filled to capacity every Sunday. However, he suddenly started encountering problems after getting married. His wife would publicly disrespect and embarrass him, eventually sending him out of their house with the relationship ending in divorce. In the midst of this, the church began to reduce and people’s interest continued to wane. With the crises deepening, Pastor Ernest met his current wife from Lesotho via the internet. Prophet T.B. Joshua described her as ‘a saviour’ to him, stating that if not for her intervention, Pastor Ernest would have prematurely ended his life in suicide. Image Pastor Ernest Davis & wife In her statement to the church, she said, “Love is not money. I love God and I knew that one day, He would make a day like this for us.” According to the prophet, the man needed to be rescued first and settled into a house with his wife and then God would be asked if the pastor should remain in His service or would return to his original work as an engineer. He used the opportunity to educate people, explaining that the pastors ‘call’ had actually come from the demon intent on destroying him. He explained, “It takes for the Holy Spirit to be sure of our dreams. Satan will keep asking, ‘By what authority are you doing things?’ ” Prophet T.B. Joshua said he would join the family before announcing to the congregation that he was supporting the couple with the sum of N1m. Falling to the floor in disbelief, Pastor Earnest and his wife could scarcely believe what was unfolding before their eyes. Calling on the congregation, he said that there was need for the couple to be given a 2 bedroom flat. Visibly moved by the charitable actions, a female member of the congregation came forward and passionately called on people to join Prophet T.B. Joshua in his crusade to touch humanity at large, proceeding to give the couple a whopping N5m! As an atmosphere of compassion pervaded the auditorium, members of the congregation also came forward to pledge various financial gifts to aid the total restoration of the couple. Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “This is why we are here – changing lives, changing nations, changing the world. We should contribute to build human beings, not cathedrals.” Glory be to God! EMMANUEL TV REMARKABLY REUNITES MOTHER AND SON! A video was replayed on the dilemma of Rosemary Ijeoma, a Nigerian who had gone to Libya for prostitution and had five kids for different fathers. During her deliverance, the evil spirit had spoken through her previously that it had completely destroyed her life and did not allow her to stay with any man. Image Rosemary Ijeoma & Children Explaining her story to the church, she said had paid $1,500 to the man who took her to Libya, and had to stay with a man there so as not to flout the laws of the land. However, after getting pregnant for the men she was staying with, a violent quarrel would erupt resulting in their separation. After giving birth to her first son, while Rosemary was still involved in prostitution, she decided to give her child out to a friend who was about to return to Nigeria. That was eight years ago. Rosemary explained that it was only after her deliverance that she began to realise one of her children was actually missing and began making frantic efforts to try and trace the whereabouts of her abandoned son, whom she said she would not even be able to recognise. Unknown to her, Divine providence was at work as the mother of her friend in Libya whom the child had been given to was watching Emmanuel TV when she gave her initial confession and realised that the child she had been taking care of the past eight years was the one in question! She decided to come to The SCOAN with the child to explain to Prophet T.B. Joshua and find out if he really was Ijeoma’s long lost son. Image Uchenna & Adopted Mother After listening to the experiences in The SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua told the congregation to rise to their feet and thank the mother of Mrs Ijeoma’s friend for the selfless love she had showed to a child she didn’t biologically own. The boy in question, Uchenna, had been sent to school and well looked after. The prophet then said the mind of God in this matter was for her to adopt the child, since “God made you to raise the child,” and would be fully supported by the church to do so. He said that the mother would also be given every support she needed from The SCOAN to take care of her remaining four children, including the provision of scholarships for their education. JOSEPHINE IWEKE: DELIVERED FROM POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS During The SCOAN Monday Service, a video was replayed showing Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesying to Josephine Iweke, last week. He prophesied that he saw her homeless to which she responded that the house she had built was burnt down by local ruffians in the area. At the service, the Imo State-born teacher, who was working with the Gwagwalade Federal Capital Territory (FUT) Education Authority, had come to narrate her story. Following Prophet T.B. Joshua’s prophecy, she had gone with the Emmanuel TV crew to Bako (where she was initially teaching at the Junior Secondary School) to show them her burnt house by an unknown man who had scaled the walls to pour petrol into her house through the windows. Since the house was burned, she had moved into a new school; she was transferred to the new school in Abuja by the Education Department of the Gwagwalade Area Council as it as felt her life was no longer safe in Bako. In the new school, she had the cooperation of the principal to sleep in one of the classrooms every day as she was homeless and had nowhere else to turn to. Isolated in a bushy environment, the lady had been staying in this helpless situation between January and August because of the problem of housing in her new place of assignment. The lady, in abject poverty and insecurity, only relied on rice and garri for her meals. Her moving situation which was shown on video to the congregation, inspired the people. Prophet T.B. Joshua announced that the sum of one million naira and three bags of rice would be given to her, on behalf of the ministry and Emmanuel TV. Among the congregation were people who made generous donations to assist the woman to the glory of God. SAVED FROM SEA PIRATES! Fonsah Richard, a Cameroonian, was travelling in a ship with over 700 other passengers on their way to Nigeria when the ship was waylaid by six armed pirate boats. The armed men’s intention was simple: to rob all the passengers on the large passenger ship. But Mr Richard, who was with a bottle of the Anointing Water, upon seeing the oncoming danger, began ministering the Anointing Water across the entire ship, petitioning God for Divine protection. Inexplicably, the sea pirates became blind to the loaded passenger ship they had targeted and turned in the other direction. The entire ship joined Mr Richard in thanksgiving to God, knowing that God had really sheltered them under the shadow of His protection through the ministering of the Anointing Water. Mr Richard said Jesus Christ is our Shelter in the face of storms and with Him, we have nothing to fear! DELIVERED FROM ADDICTION TO EATING HAIR! A video was replayed where a woman named Josephine Udoh had first come to The SCOAN with a terrible affliction: an addiction to eating hair all over her body for a shocking 23 years. The addiction had reduced her to a point where the hairs on her head had practically ceased from growing and she had to cover her head with a wrapper to curtail shame and embarrassment. When the urge to eat her hair came, Mrs Udoh could not control herself, explaining that she would be hearing a voice propelling her to continue in such inhumane acts. However, after opening up about her problem and receiving prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua, everything changed! She proudly showed the congregation a full head of hair, evidencing her total freedom from the unnatural addiction. Mrs Udoh explained that since her deliverance several months ago, she had completely stopped eating hair and was now living a normal and happy life with her husband. She advised the congregation not to hide or be ashamed of their problems but to bring them to God as He is the answer to all fundamental issues of life.
